Whatcha watchin'?
Here are the new shows I've tried:
Abbott Elementary (ABC) - LOVE this. It's silly with a lot of heart, which always brings me joy!
American Auto (NBC) - Not quite sure what to make of this. I initially didn't care for Superstore, but it snuck its way into my heart. I'm holding onto American Auto in hopes of a similar sneak attack.
The Cleaning Lady (FOX) - It'd be a stretch to call this original, but it has a great cast, so I'm interested to see where this goes.
Good Sam (CBS) - I want to like this, but it's a struggle so far. There's not enough novelty to justify its existence. I'm hoping it improves in time.
Grand Crew (NBC) - LOVE this. It always takes me a minute to get into the rhythm of shows that drop you into a friend group, but this one pays off fairly quickly. I love this group of friends and I hope to hang with them for a long, long, long time.
Judge Steve Harvey (ABC) - Definitely not appointment viewing, but it is a nice way to kill some time. If you like Steve Harvey, and I do, you'll enjoy this!
Next Level Chef (FOX) - The conceit wears away quickly, but fortunately it's difficult to remove the comfort element of cooking shows so I'll stay tuned for now.
Pivoting (FOX) - Love the cast, but not the show, sadly. I'll be surprised to see a second season of this, too.
Wolf Like Me (Peacock) - This show is somehow excellent and awful simultaneously. I'm confused as to whether I even enjoyed it or not, too. It's a strange experience. I'll definitely be curious to hear what others think!
Women of the Movement (ABC) - This is so well done, but I'm having to pace myself because it's a very difficult watch. I hope you will watch even if you have to break it up into segments like me.
